A Grateful Letter from a Little Bamboo Sprout

As I reflect on the incredible journey that brought me from the slum communities of Cebu to where I am today, I am compelled to express my deepest gratitude to Little Bamboo Foundation Inc. I stand as a living testament to the transformative power of education, and it all began as one of the pioneers of this remarkable program.
Year 2002, I vividly remember the beginnings of the program, a time when hope and opportunity were being intricately woven into the fabric of our lives. Little did I know that this opportunity would not only shape my educational journey but also chart a transformative trajectory for countless lives. Little Bamboo's dedication to uplifting the spirits of less privileged children like me has been the catalyst for positive change, creating a ripple effect that continues to resonate through our communities.
As a pioneer of this program, I witnessed firsthand the growth and impact of Little Bamboo Foundation. The journey began in a humble bamboo hut in the heart of the slums, where the seeds of education were planted. Little Bamboo started small but envisioned something greater—a dedicated school for children like us.
I am proud to say that during our time in preschool, I had the honor of being recognized as the valedictorian. This achievement was not just a personal milestone; it was proof of the dedication and commitment of our Little Bamboo teachers in nurturing education in the midst of challenging circumstances. The recognition as the valedictorian instilled in me a sense of responsibility and a belief in the power of education to overcome obstacles.
Today, as I thrive in my role as a software engineer, I carry with me the invaluable lessons, core values, and opportunities that Little Bamboo Foundation has graciously provided. To the dedicated team at Little Bamboo Foundation, my heartfelt gratitude. Your unwavering vision and commitment to enhancing the lives of children have not only transformed my own journey but have also laid the foundation for a lasting legacy of empowerment and educational accomplishment.
